Medipoint is the largest provider of care and well-being products in the Netherlands. Given their expected growth, scalability is important to them. They therefore decided to land their entire environment in Google Cloud. A success story that did not go unnoticed by CustomerFirst magazine.

Silvia Woudberg: “My main requirement was to be able to adapt the website very quickly. In addition, scalability is important to us because we expect a strong growth in the number of customers using the site.”
She therefore consulted Cees van Kemenade, Cloud Architect at CTS. Woudberg was open to his advice and decided to land the entire environment in Google Cloud.
Her most important advice to other organisations that want to improve their digital customer journeys is: “make sure you are flexible and can make adjustments quickly. In our case, Google Cloud has really helped with that. With a traditional IT landscape, we wouldn’t be able to bring in extra capacity for product development so flexibly, nor could we easily reuse building blocks we already have in another environment. We can now move much faster and respond flexibly to what customers or suppliers ask of us. That is exactly what we need in this rapidly changing world.”
