In order of celebration regarding our MSP accreditation, Liam Dow takes us through managed service and what they can offer your organisation. 

CTS are now a certified Google Cloud Managed Service Provider!

We’ve been providing managed services to our lovely customers in one form or another since our inception all the way back in 2008. Recently we’ve had our managed services offerings benchmarked and rubber-stamped by the Google Cloud team and have been recognised with the Google Cloud Managed Service Provider (MSP) certification. Woo hoo!

This certification designates CTS as a leading managed services provider, and alongside our other Google Cloud specialities in Cloud Migration, and Work Transformation we’re excited to continue supporting our customers as EMEA’s largest dedicated Google Cloud Managed Service Provider.

So why managed services?

Often when we’re talking about the cloud with customers, the focus is on the journey:

"How do we architect it?”, “When are we migrating?” “What are we leaving behind?” 

A critical part which can sometimes be overlooked, is what to do post-cloud adoption? After all, it’s not just about moving to the cloud - it’s about what you do once you're there.

For example, when you’re planning a holiday, you don’t exclusively focus on the logistics of how to get to your destination (although clearly an important factor). It’s about all the interesting stuff you’re going to do once you arrive! Your experience in the cloud should be the same, focus on what brings your business value and stay focused on the bigger picture. In our standard project methodology, we start the conversation about managed services during the first sprint of an engagement, so that any setup, handover and configuration can be a smooth process.

So what managed services do CTS offer?

In the industry when we talk about “MSP’s” or “managed services ”, we often think of a classic support function: an ITIL centric, incident response team, with engineers on standby to respond to issues 24/7/365. Essentially the focus being to ‘keep the lights on’ and manage any technical hiccups. We conduct a comprehensive review of your GCP environment and identify resources which could be optimised to reduce your monthly bill. Something all companies can benefit from, in the current economic climate.

Need access to Software Developers, Platform Engineers, or Data Scientists? We can provide you with access to an ongoing team of experts to meet all of your needs whether that’s building out your platform, adding new features, or just providing you with confidence that your engineering needs are being dealt with by the experts.

Adoption Services

We pride ourselves in our people-centric approach to cloud adoption. With our Adoption Services, we can provide you with a customised training and change management package as well as ongoing access to our wonderful Customer Success team to provide you with expert advice that we’ve learned over the years across our wide range of customers.

Foundations
Not sure what help you need or unsure about taking managed services? We’ve got you covered, at CTS all of our customers are provided with the Foundation Tier of support free of charge. We can facilitate escalations to Google, provide a basic level of support, and answer any questions you may have about the Google Cloud ecosystem.
